Documentary about Ally Rehmtullah's campaign completed

Ally Rehmtullah is the embassador for the project 'Drug Free Zanzibar'. The project coordinates activities on Zanzibar to stop the abuse of drugs. Part of the project is the Sober House, where addicted one find a home and a place, where they are supported and guided on their way away from the drugs. The Vodacam foundation is supporting the project.
To create this short documentary, Media in Motion used footage shoot by TVZ (TV Zanzibar) and did the scripting, editing and grading in-house. Since most of the footage contained interviews and speeches, we had to edit a short but emotional video, that focuses on the every day problems of drug addicted Zanzibaris and how the Sober House Zanzibar is helping them to overcome their addiction effectively.Year of Production: 2011
